Chocolate Icebox Pie

- 1 cup butter
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ounce unsweetened chocolate
- 3 eggs separated
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 cup vanilla wafer crumbs
- Whip egg whites into stiff peaks and set aside.
- Mix butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla.
- Add chocolate and egg yolks and mix well.
- Add nuts.
- Fold egg whites into chocolate mixture.
- Line a 9 inch pie pan with half the vanilla wafer crumbs then put chocolate mixture on top.
- Top with the remaining crumbs and pat down.
- Freeze for 2 hours.
